Karen has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years. She has worked at the corporate level at a large brokerage, trained many successful agents, assisted top agents & large teams, and has even worked at a successful branding agency.
On the personal side, as the daughter of a career Naval Officer, Karen is quite familiar with the moving process having moved 13 times before graduating from high school. After graduating from W. T. Woodson HS in Fairfax, VA, she moved to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University. Karen quickly fell in love with the city, its rich history as well as its food scene and decided to call Richmond home from then on.
Upon graduating from VCU with a degree in Mass Communications, Karen worked in the advertising industry for The Martin Agency and BrannRMG before moving into real estate. Karen and her husband Jason live in the Far West End with their feline fur-baby, Thompson. She loves spending time near the water and cooking for her family and friends.
